But God invites us to bring every burden to Him and exchange our heaviness for His strength, comfort and rest. When life gets hard, our initial response is to pull back, isolate and handle everything ourselves - but that's where discouragement grows and strength fades. God never designed us to carry life's challenges solo. Or in silence. We grow, heal and become stronger when we link with others in spiritual community. Connection isn't optional for growth but essential for survival.

At With Purple Lens, we help people shift their perspective by grounding everyday life in biblical truth. Through studies, devotionals, small groups and Christ centered resources, we guide individuals to see their circumstances through God's wisdom so they can live with greater purpose, peace and spiritual confidence. We create spaces where faith become practical and Scripture becomes personal.

what do we believe?

Truth. Faith. Foundation.

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible and authoritative Word of God, breathed out by Him and fully trustworthy for every area of life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105). We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19). We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again and is the only way to salvation (John 14:6; Romans 10:9). We believe the Holy Spirit empowers, guides, and transforms believers as we walk with God (John 16:13; Galatians 5:22-23). And we believe that the Church is God's design for community, discipleship and spiritual growth (Hebrews 10:24-25). Everything we teach and every resource we create flows from these truths.

We host a warm, Christ-centered caregiver small group that meets for 7 weeks, twice a year - in the fall and spring - to examine and discuss Six Principles in Caregiving with Purple Lens. During the summer, we gather for a lighter, devotional-based series called Heart to Heart: Devotions in Caregiving with Purple Lens. These groups are safe places for informal caregivers to grow spiritually, find support and connect with others who really understand the journey. how did we get here?

Lived. Learned. Proven.

With Purple Lens was born from my own caregiving journey - long days, longer nights and seasons where I learned to rely on God in ways I never had before. I didn't step into this ministry from theory or second-hand stories, but from lived experiences: caring for my parents, navigating exhaustion, wrestling with strong emotions and discovering firsthand how deeply God meets caregivers in the middle of their reality. Everything here comes from what I've personally walked, what God has revealed to me and what I know to be true - His strength is enough and His presence is real.

what makes this different?

There are countless resources that teach caregivers how to handle the physical, practical and medical tasks of caregiving - and those tools are important. But With Purple Lens exists to offer what many caregivers never receive: biblical guidance for how to honor God, love their care partner well and navigate the emotional and spiritual weight of caregiving. The difference int his ministry is simple and profound - we don't just teach what to do, we teach how God shapes the way you do it. The difference is God.
